Everyone has baggage.
Let's unpack yours.

Everyone has baggage.
Let's unpack yours.

We all carry stuff: some heavy, some weirdly shaped, and some we haven’t even unpacked since middle school. Baggage Claim Therapy is a place where you don’t have to toss it all out or carry it perfectly. You just need a safe space to set it down and sort through it your way.
No therapy speak overload. Just honest conversations, a sense of humor, and someone who meets you where you’re at, not where some
self-help blog says you should be.

Therapy for humans with baggage, not malfunctions.

We work with adults and young adults who are navigating all sorts of life stuff: anxiety, depression, life transitions, burnout, grief, trauma, identity questions, relationship weirdness, or just the good ol’ existential dread.

Telehealth therapy from your couch, or wherever you feelsemi-comfortable opening up. We’re based in Maryland and offer:

  • Individual therapy

  • Couples therapy

  • Consultations

Here’s the thing: I don’t believe therapy should feel like dragging a suitcase up a flight of stairs while someone yells “you’re doing great!” from the top. I’m not here to pull you or push you. We walk together. We go at your pace. Sometimes we sit on the metaphorical floor and say, “okay… what is this mess?” And that’s valid too.

My approach is rooted in curiosity, humor, compassion, and deep respect for your lived experience. Therapy shouldn’t feel like a sales pitch or a syllabus. It should feel like a conversation that actually helps.

Whether you’ve got a
carry-on or a lifetime’s worth of checked baggage, there’s space for it here.

If you’re looking for therapy that feels:

  • Less like a lecture and more like a conversation.

  • Grounded but not rigid.

  • Approachable, kind, and occasionally a little funny.

  • Free of toxic positivity or pressure to be “better” overnight.

Then yes, we might be a good fit.

We handle the
emotional heavy lifting.
